Default Gateway IP is another name for such a common IP.

Few users know their router’s IP address because the IP 192.168.1.250 is only required in one instance. That is, while a technician completes the setup process. As a result, you never communicate with 192.168.1.250. However, you may want to modify the SSID (WiFi network name), WiFi-Password, or parental restrictions on occasion. Enter the code.
A login box will appear, prompting you to enter your username and password.
Press enter after filling in the username and password.
It will take you to the netgear administration page. You can use this page to access the smart setup wizard to set up or make necessary changes to your extender.
